SSN are usually slightly behind the curve with their reports, so hopefully it’s all but done.

Ooh, Birmingham pulled out then

Getting a little too rich for them, eh.

Leave the "but" out. I am just waiting for the word "done."

If we did bag him and were to slot him straight in, are we thinking maybe BTA dropped and Torp pushed further forward? Or Torp dropped and him plonked straight in next to Grimes?

Not up to speed with posts but saw this:

Sources: Wolves fighting off two Championship clubs to agree deal for Jorgen Strand Larsen replacement

Sources have told Football Insider that Wolves are among the clubs interested in an exciting striker this month.

It's as simple as that. You've got people trying to take the moral high ground that there's some concern about the transfer activity, but they're missing the point.

Standalone this signing looks decent, and we've spent some money. We can all be happy about that. If we sign a CM then it is a decent window. No problem. If we don't it is ridiculous given what is at stake. We really need some strength. That's the reality here.

Be great if we can nab Frank Onyeka.

It will be just 6 more players to come in before the window closes then.

Rushworth
MvE
Thomas
Kitching
JD
Grimes
Onyeka
Rudoni/Torp/BTA (behind the 3)
Esse
EMC
Wright/Simms

I’d have thought.

Onyeka would be a class signing. Would love a loan with obligation or permanent

there are a number of sources, us Boro and Wolves being mentioned and he was apparently of interest to Man Utd earlier too…

also, now that the ‘not strengthening in attack’ statement has been proved nonsense, there are two names I’ve heard are in consideration but other teams also in the mix, both attackers one mid / wing and one mid / up front

A loan with an obligation on promotion is a fantastic deal.

I love the thought of King and Lampard sitting around after completing the deal for Markelo and suddenly being like 'ah shit, we were supposed to sign a midfielder weren't we? Forgot about that. Bollocks, can't do that now we've spent all the money'.

The notion we've just bought a winger so that must mean we aren't trying to sign a midfielder is absolutely nuts. Honestly

That's a shrewd signing for them. Despite how annoying the MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL chant is, it would be cool to see them in the playoffs

The Horses (Ipswich) seem to be buying up anything linked with city or Mboro if you ask me! scatter gun approach or what! think they are frightened of us both and using this to try and weaken us

The only U21s you do have to register are loans, so they would count towards the 25.

That's people most probably guessing because of Preston being up north and just 1 point out of the playoffs.

not on this occasion, although it is someone close to the club…

I did occasionally get stuff, such as when I said DK was sacking Robins, but wouldn’t call these more than names we were apparently considering

Onyeka tonight please Doug.

Oh yeah, it should be common sense at this point. A full bedwetting session shouldn't be allowed until the window is firmly shut regardless, but I don't think it will be necessary anyway.

Frank tomorrow and Hamer Saturday. Delicious.

Signing Frank without Hamer would be serious cuck behaviour!

Fortunately Doug doesn't sit in the cuck chair

I am tempted not to entertain these types of comments, but given the wobbles we've seen on here in the last few days, I think it is worth reminding people that if he was still here we wouldn't be top of the league.

It’s looking increasingly like that home game against them is going to be pretty important. If he scores the winner and gives a fist pump I won’t be responsible for my actions.
