I love the thought of King and Lampard sitting around after completing the deal for Markelo and suddenly being like 'ah shit, we were supposed to sign a midfielder weren't we? Forgot about that. Bollocks, can't do that now we've spent all the money'.

The notion we've just bought a winger so that must mean we aren't trying to sign a midfielder is absolutely nuts. Honestly 😂
It's king sat on football manager looking for players.

I do remember everyone getting excited about WBA signing him last season and he was absolute toilet water.

In a Boro side creating a lot more chances than that Baggies team I think he’ll fare better. We managed to keep him quiet with a Lati/Woolf CB pairing though.

Oh i can see the sense in it for them, he'll notch a lot more than Conway. Not one i'm envious in terms of i'd want him here though, especially for that money.

Sheffield Wednesday are pretty desperate for a left back and players in general. Could send them a few…but I’m also mindful of adding in too many new players who have to hit the ground running. Preferably want known quantities particularly in defensive parts of the pitch.
If we were to loan them players we may still need to pay their wages in full.

Id rather use it to get Onyeka on loan and Hamer permanently
Tbh that Auxerre striker looks way more exciting than AA but i don't see it as a priority position, not that that seems to have stopped us so far
Onyeka and Hamer for sure.
