Come the summer we have 2 loan players going back and Sakamoto on 1 year remaining on his contract.Not disappointed we’ve spent money but concerned with the squad planning. Doug, To his credit, often mentions how hard it is to compete with some teams in this league. So with our finite resources, is this three right wing players (four if you include Rapha) the best use?
He could be brilliant but that’s leaving wages we could use for other players potentially not even on the bench. Similar to us having three leftback that prevents us getting one in that we really need.

Yes but I'm not sure how many times it needs to be said. The window is almost done so we'll know pretty soon.It's as simple as that. You've got people trying to take the moral high ground that there's some concern about the transfer activity, but they're missing the point.
Standalone this signing looks decent, and we've spent some money. We can all be happy about that. If we sign a CM then it is a decent window. No problem. If we don't it is ridiculous given what is at stake. We really need some strength. That's the reality here.
