There is an argument to be had over who is better between O’Nien or Lati.

But either way the whole argument is about a 4th choice CB, as neither are any better than Bobby, Kitch or the Woolf so why would we even entertain trying to upgrade a 4th choice CB!?

Lati is perfectly capable to come in and do a job when required as he has proven (hardly ever)

Lati missed pre season because of his injury. After being out all season he came straight into the side and played well. He is a very capable player at this level. We don't need a player who was Sunderland's weak link at the back. He wouldn't bring us anything we need.

Although to annoy people there's rumours of Hughes being on Celtic's radar now. Can see them spending what it would take to get hin this window though.

Nuts conversation. Only reason you go for another CB is if say Hull said CH is yours for similar to what we bid in summer and then can move lati on.....but as others have said this is no priority.

Marquee CM be nice and then if theres an option for LB bingo.

Frank Lampard doesn't do photo shoots with new signings i.e Matty Grimes.

Not been told tbh mate, not sure if it's a January or summer job also not sure if they are likely to be announced or just will turn up.

One name given was Noonan at Shamrock Rovers but this was 3 months ago now, my record is shit as is so I won't be committing to this one

In other news I'd be surprised if Manneh signs for Birmingham now based on the reason we pulled out, i won't share the reason but it would surprise me if Birmingham risk it is what I will say!

Shamrock Rovers have 2 Noonans that are U21 (17), plus another who's 22 year old.

Of the 17 year olds.
Alex is a goalie. He's been on the bench a bit this season.

Michael is a striker and has featured quite a bit for them, including in Europe. Sofascore says he's out of contract in November, the end of the Irish 2026 season. He turns 18 at the end of July.

I was referring the the start of the window rather than our business (and also make a joke about my earlier post about Esse signing after he already had). To get 2 in 7 days is brilliant.

As for how many more, I'd love to see another CM. That's about all we need, I think.
