This is the calm before the storm. Many clubs are waiting to confirm signings before selling. I think it will be a week or so before much happens. But if we sign players then near the end of the window our main target becomes available and the other interested clubs have bought elsewhere?
It's when they become available at the right price. You want them in early so they can settle in ASAP.Whilst we all want signings asap, partly to reassure us and partly for them to train and get to know how we play, in reality we have an FA Cup match next week so we are really targeting the leicester fixture to get 1 or 2 in by, and then 1 or 2 more by the end of the window.
