We will most probably be looking at 5 or 6 players and expecting about 2 to join. If we get more targets we could let others go.We already have a small squad and you say a couple moving on , so we would have to sign about 5 players to strengthen the squad, and I can’t see that happening.

This is the calm before the storm. Many clubs are waiting to confirm signings before selling. I think it will be a week or so before much happens. But if we sign players then near the end of the window our main target becomes available and the other interested clubs have bought elsewhere?
It's when they become available at the right price. You want them in early so they can settle in ASAP.Whilst we all want signings asap, partly to reassure us and partly for them to train and get to know how we play, in reality we have an FA Cup match next week so we are really targeting the leicester fixture to get 1 or 2 in by, and then 1 or 2 more by the end of the window.

Think Rak Sakiyi is at the age now where he’s bordering on unfulfilled potential ageI think I agree. I prefer Esse to Rak-Sakyi, not as big on Rak-Sakyi as some, he'd be fine but meh... think Esse is the more exciting talent.
