Need a midfielder and a 10 to replace Rudoni who’s been wank lately. He needs a kick up the arse

Why are people so convinced that King won’t back Frank this window ?

I see no evidence of that.

In fact credible journalists are stating that King will back Frank, and 3 days into the window we have already been linked with nearly 10 players !
He wasn't particularly backed in the summer is why.

Are you new to supporting Cov.

We bought KKH and Woolfenden for nearly £8m. We had £4m offer for Rushworth declined, and multiple offers of up to £10m for Hughes.

A few years ago spending a few hundred thousand was our norm !

Some fans are very entitled ….
We sold Sheaf for £6m and Binks for £4m.

People also forget that we are signing players other clubs want so it can take time and sometimes it doesn't come off.

Four matches before the end of the window after the cup match. We desparately need to regroup for the Leicester match onwards and have quality new recruits in place. Look at todays bench. We are well short in quanity and quality to help us make this happen as it stands.

It was King who set the target of promotion.
Literally. I dont get why people are excusing it. The excuse "we are targetting better players" doesnt wash either.

Mowbray was rightly criticised for doing that in the summer before he went

Lampard has been hinting frustration at the squad size for a while now, I imagine he’s feeling pretty pissed off.
Birmingham get a new player in on the first day of the window opening , we is our recruitment. The next two home games become crucial now.

Most important Jan transfer window of the clubs history?

Dean Austin needs to put overtime on for his team, none of the recruitment team should be booking in less than 90 hours per week.

Doug needs to speak to his accountants and maybe sell some properties and businesses.

It’s one thing getting in quality players for this level, it’s another asking them to be fully match fit and come in with no settling in period. They will be expected to perform from the off.

Wagner came in today and started, that’s what we need. Someone who can come in and start straight away if required
