Woke up buzzing but have been slightly deflated by the fact that listening to the radio on the way to work this morning, the news had a full story on Festa being relegated but didn't mention our promotion at all.

I get that interest in us isn't universal but you would think that a former prem team returning to the top flight as champions after a 25 year absence and bitter hardships along the way would at least warrant a mention........

Especially since our relegation has surprised exactly nobody. Fair play Sky Blues, cracking season. Got some players going cheap if you’re interested…

Feel strangely serene, it's not like the instant joy of a playoff win. Just a calm bliss after fighting for it for so long.

If you could bottle this you'd make billions.
This has been slow and assured climb since the low of league one relegation.

Bit of an anti climax (as most of us knew it was done). Theres only so much celebrating!

Well, I had a stinking migraine yesterday - all day, in fact. One of those where you can’t eat, drink or sleep because you’re too busy spewing, seeing zigzags/clouds and writhing around aimlessly. Everything has been going to shit recently, but thankfully, this morning I realised we’d done it. 🩵 🏆

A triumphant, dominant achievement for this club, a legacy that was started in 2017 when Robins took over and we won the Checkatrade trophy.

It’s been a tale of incremental progress, and some wonderful memories.

Thank you to Frank and his coaching staff, and everyone involved from Doug King downwards.

Next season will be one heck of a journey. 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

can everyone stop talking like it’s the end of the journey? Got Europe to go yet!

You think that’s bad. I listened to CWR for 45 mins waiting for King to come on only for him to pull out with a hangover.

Turns out even listening to them talk about us being champions is like nails on a chalk board.

And, taking to Instagram, Mustapha Hadji revealed his delight at Coventry’s promotion, as he shared an emotional message with fans.

A club that welcomed me like family and gave me unforgettable memories. Congratulations to the players, staff, management and fans of Coventry City FC on this fantastic and well deserved promotion to the Premier League.”

Jeremy Monga ....

I think he wants to come to Cov and be part of the project.

£15m if you had stayed up but since you went down a few million should do it.

I get that he's only 16. But not sure I'd want us spunking too much on pure hype and potential. Done fuck all in a dreadful squad.

Excellent work Mark, Frank and everyone else who was a part of our rise through the leagues. Those cold Tuesday nights in front of 6,000 in League Two were worth it in the end.

We won't have to spunk too much if he doesn't sign that pro contract with Leicester. We can afford to spend a little bit on potential now though, as we are a proper club again. Much like when players like Maddison were taken from us for their potential.
