exactly my thoughts, don’t know why we’re discussing attacking midfielders when we have Jamie “on fire” Allen and others. We need a solid backup in the Sheaf role.

This is my concern too. If Maatsen did get injured could JCS fill in as an orthodox left back if we reverted to a back four?

I can't see us changing our whole system because of one injury. No chance Robins has shown that.

I can still see us bringing in cover for LWB and Todd isn’t a done deal. As far as we know it’s a rumour, nothing more concrete than that.

Isn't that what we do with Jobello? As soon as we lost the ability to play wingers effectively he had to change tactics. Obviously kasta didn't work out as well which assisted with that decision.

Obviously I think Robins is searching for cover for the position but if he doesn't get it then I think it would depend on the length of injury e.g. I don't see robins persisting with a makeshift lwb for 4 months, but he may well do say if it was just for a month.

After the volume of bad luck with injuries we got last season surely he'd think twice on that

I'd suspect it's more likely to be one of drysdale or pask and one of Jones or Shipley out on loan. Don't want to leave us too short of forward players by sending Jones and Shipley out. Especially considering bright isn't fit.

Just read the interview, he actually says 1 or 2 need to go out who are on the peripheral or actually not even that... Seems to suggest that one of Hilsner or Jobello are potentially lined up to leave.
