Whether there's any more to it than that remains to be seen.

100-150k would be an absolute steal for us. Last year of his contract and he’s at least 4th choice at CM and CAM. We’ll let him go for free when we’ve got someone lined up I imagine.
He was instrumental in our promotion season and I quite like him. But, didn’t have much output nor impact last season and it’s probably for the best for both parties to move him on.

Me too. Everyone wants someone young with the potential to be the next superkid, which is fair enough as it is exciting as you don't really know what you are getting, but we defo shouldn't turn our noses up at a bit of experience.I'd take him back

We got a player who'd been the embodiment of professionalism, but we got him for the season he finally couldn't play football to a level.Oh of course you have to make sure they are still up to it/aren't just interested in one final half decent contract, but I'd like to think we're a bit better at spotting the con men these days.
