Sounds ok to me!Its sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently
We wore stripes in 2001 when we were relegated too. Frankly, since they brought in the rule with the back of the jersey, I’d never back to stripes. Its sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently
What rule is that?We wore stripes in 2001 when we were relegated too. Frankly, since they brought in the rule with the back of the jersey, I’d never back to stripes.
The back panel of the shirt needs to plain, it’s ruined a lot designs and frankly, I’d be fuming if our colours were traditionally striped. What rule is that?
…and our relegation kit. Would much prefer a proper sky blue shirt. Its sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently

Ffs the cup final kit is our worst kit of alltime other than the 16/17 monstrosity. What a shit way to mark our return to the top flight. Its sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently
On that note, I wonder if they will end up following through with the St Mirren anniversary friendly that was mooted - Or now they are a Prem side will they see themselves as above playing themIts sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently

Really? I really don't like stripes! Its sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently
Correct me if I’m wrong, it’s a PL/UEFA specific rule to do with visibility. The plain back tends to be more used but it's not a rule, West Brom are one who use the full stripes
Ah yeah could be, I'm thinking general EFL.Correct me if I’m wrong, it’s a PL/UEFA specific rule to do with visibility.
Sunderland fans discussing it here:
Premier league rule. Back of striped shirts solid colour?
That can't be the proper design ffs. :lol:www.readytogo.net
What does everyone want?
I know it’s not the most popular opinion on here, but I like collars…and I don’t mind stripes. Homages to either the “Robert Rosario” 91/92 kit or the “Eoin Jess” 96/97 effort would do fine for me. As for away/ 3rd kits, I don’t mind the current hot coral and would love for the green and black stripes to return in some form.

Still Hummel? Its sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently
11/12. Sorry, I’m a pedantic twat.Not a fan of stripes but…
I did like the Puma 2012/13 version for the 25th anniversary. Plus can use the golden elephant badge (we are champions* after all).
*Should be at least

Did we use it for two seasons?, only as we wore it in 2013 in the fa cup against Tottenham.11/12. Sorry, I’m a pedantic twat.
I've heard this too, and have to say I'm not a fan. Wouldn't mind something closer to the actual FA Cup kit as a third kit, but wish we'd stop with striped home kits. The FA Cup wasn't even sky blue. Its sky blue and white stripes, 40 years since the cup final win so a modern take on that apparently
Yes, this one is good and has aged really well. Even better that it wasn't a home kit for the season. Not a fan of stripes but…
