I reckon Doyle, Hyam and one of the new signings will be modelling the kits. Is there an SBT Bookies event for it?

I reckon Doyle, Shipley and Stokes or Willis. Potentially a keeper too?

It would be good if some of the “bigger” players were here.

MR:

Still looking for a striker (not because anyone is leaving)

Another LB already agreed terms and is coming in to train.

Jones not ready till September.

Interesting about another LB, looks like Stokes is on the way out as well as rumoured.

MR:

Expectations are to go for it. We’re excited and looking forward to it.

There are different ways to win games. Can’t always be gung ho.

We will move forward with players we have.

MR:

Won’t get Maddison money.

Budget has gone up, as promotion bonuses and new players with higher wages as better calibre.

Not singing anyone playing at WC.

Can’t remember much of play off final night.

Got real talented players. All very hungry. Allesanni looks phenomenal. Sterling is great acquisition and gives Grimmer competition.

No Maddison money!
Might listen to higher bids for McNulty perhaps?
Thought they had the buffer from Maddison windfall.

Has the McNulty situation been mentioned yet?

You do realise “Great Expections” you could tell us we’ve just signed Rondaldo on loan and we would have to believe you!

I think it's the opposite. If he comes out and says yeah we got the money then our position when negotiating for a player is disadvantaged if the team knows we have a percentage of that couple million or so in the war chest

You are right he does have 2 years and we have an option for a third year!!!
I’d tell all clubs to do one!!

MR:

Got to work on throw ins. Don’t understand why players get it wrong.

Happy with support from board and Dave Boddy has done fantastic. Will make improvements to training ground.

Wants more support as it all goes to him. Have to move forward together. Feel good factor atm.

Getting better players in and we have momentum.

Avoided question re Ricoh. He said he can’t contol it or get involved in politics but it needs to be sorted.

Last season was unbelievable. Really tough league. Losing games impacts young players. Took young players a while to get used to Doyle!!

MR:

Three bids for McNulty, all way short. Board have backed him. We’ve offered him a new contract. We want him to stay. He knows what MR thinks of him. Reading have gone away. But all players want to play at higher level.

Baylis wants to stay and sign a new contract.

Unsurprisingly, both got massive rounds of applause.

I’m actually glad he said that, because I was unsure whether or not Robins was aware of it. Thankfully, he is aware of it!

Like that WC guy doing a summrsault ,a long throw specialist would be a nice set piece advantage over most sides!

My interpretation; he wants to stay, we want him to stay, we’re doing all we can but if a big offers comes in from a championship club we wouldn’t stand in his way.

Bayliss sounds all good, unless he gets his head turned.

I’m not sure he sounded convinced about McNulty signing a new deal, the way he spoke about Bayliss sounded more positive in my opinion
