Anyone else holding out hope that Pressley is still looking for his number 9?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Tudgay, if he stays fit and we don't sell him in January, will get 20 goals for us this season.

Miller and McQuoid I'd be surprised if they got 10 between them to be honest.

I reckon O'Brien will chip in with 10 or so, but playing 3 in the middle we won't get goals from anywhere else.

But I expect our defence to be a LOT more secure this season. (Assuming Johnson stays fit).

Let's just get under the covers and sob then.

It's three players who appear to have played inconsistently for separate clubs, compared to three who played together in a team scoring for fun. Leon Clarke didn't exactly take his goalscoring streak with him, so maybe as a long shot a forward might enjoy better success with us than a smattering of appearances elsewhere.

Those numbers for Tugay & McQuoid were in the Championship.. so I'd expect them to score a lot more easily in league one.

It is still a hell of a lot to replace as well as getting what is practically a new team to play with a good understanding.
