It's getting a bit desperate. Just waiting for the statistics to be racist and far right.

Look it's not my fault if you can't read the statistics.

No one is denying that Albanians or Somalians commit more crime than Brits.

Immigrants as a whole, commit less. Sorry to disappoint you.

Again, you are trying to twist the words.

It is a comparison per 1000 likely to be in jail hence the "committing at a lower rate compared to brits". It wasn't ever about total number of crimes recorded in the UK.

I may be oversimplifying here but for me we just come back to getting people properly processed quickly and by people that known what they're doing so we don't have such a large number of cases successfully going to appeal.

Get the numbers down so we can process people within days or weeks of entering the country and you have a number you can manageably keep secure while being processed.

In terms of crime if any group is overrepresented in the figures then of course we need to identify causes and find solutions. But we also shouldn't ignore the large number of crimes committed by British citizens.

Not sure posting every time there's a crime committed by an asylum seeker is really helping anyone.

Just to throw something else in the mix. There's a proposal to immediately remove any foreign national who commits a crime. This raises the prospect that convicted criminals will be sent out of the country and subsequently receive no punishment in their home country.

We've got the odd situation where on the one hand we're demanding people be thrown out of the country immediately and on the other we're demanding people be returned to this country to allow justice to be served.

Yes, and foreign born people are less likely to be in prison per 1000 people compared to brits.

Oh so he should have done a disclaimer regarding India. Then what’s the total?

We can find reports of crimes committed by white British people just as easily. The truth is that the overwhelming majority of immigrants are law abiding people who pay their taxes, the same is true of 'home grown' British people.

Easier to just say 'don't let anyone in and it'll fix everything' rather than, ironically, put the hard graft in to make the country work for the regions Thatcher and her successors left behind. We could maybe try crazy hard left ideas like universal childcare, universal free school meals, VAT cuts, and give a shit about state education.

That's not true though is it?

117 Somalians per 1000 in the UK are in prison. 60 Albanians per 1000. I'd say that's pretty high.

What is it for somebody from the UK? I'd bet around 1.2 - 1.3 per 1000 are in prison.

The numbers show the exact opposite. Moral of the story is to keep crime down, more people from India and less from Somalia, Albania, Iraq etc.

You’re taking the 2021 census and applying it to groups you’re complaining started entering the country en masse after 2021. Can you see how that might mess up your ratios?

His own data suggest we should deport British citizens and replace them with Indian and Portuguese ones, in the interest of lawfulness

That it’s apparently not accepted to judge groups of people by the majority, but it is accepted to do so by the worst examples of them.

Mo Farah came here as a refugee from Somalia as a child. If this type of profiling were followed through on, he wouldn’t have come here and done outstanding things. The likes of Rob would tell similar children now that they aren’t welcome.

Spectacularly and intentionally missing the point again. At least @ me if you must mention me. As I've always maintained, the word is 'pause' not stop. Yes we might miss out on the next Mo Farrah, we also might miss out on the next Linford Christie from the UK because his family don't currently have a home and he has other priorities. My solution was to sort our own mess and infrastructure in order that we could welcome 10 Mo Farrah's in the future. Again I've been quite clear on that, but of course you knew and are just being your usual provocative self.

You said you wanted zero net immigration. A victim of human trafficking from Somalia under that interpretation wouldn’t be allowed in.

You seem perturbed when your own position is restated to you and it’s shifted once again because there’s another example that makes it look as silly as it is. The ‘pause’ described was for decades was it not?

There is a half way position between where we are now and yours of letting nobody in, which I imagine is where most people are at.

so in zero net (as we lose about 0.5m every year) there is plenty of wriggle room for a Mo, however again you're being selective. Perhaps go back to my early posts on this where all I talked about was sorting our own house first (I actually think I said either for a generation or two, so that the old people weren't an issue with less babies being born and about increasing the pay for care workers. It's in black and white and only your interpretation of my posts is changing. My stance has been pretty clear from the outset.

No point in arguing with an idiot mate, they don’t live in the real world. They deluded themselves into thinking they are the majority because they all agree with each other on here

I’m not trying to be funny, to be clear. I just think we have both agreed that the patient is sick, but you’ve mistaken a symptom for a cause and so are prescribing the wrong treatment.

Or perhaps you have missed the cause and are doing further unnecessary tests instead of trying to treat the main injury. Perhaps once we sort the main issue, some of the underlying symptoms will appear more manageable by the patient.

A lot of this is on a government website. It’s hardly mind blowing or provocative

You'd still need to have an element of migration into the country though to cover key services in both the short and long-term.

The Albanian crime rate is astonishing - how do Albanians actually arrive in the uk? They can’t be asylum seekers.

Wasn't he actually illegal when coming here?
