Need 6 wins and 1 draw.
19 points should make playoffs by beating Doncaster last game
Tough call as will need something from Sunderland and Barnsley away.

Just looked at donny fixture list till end of season. Looks easier than ours and i ezpext they will get more thsn 70pts so we may need 6 wins including beating them!

But as always lets take it 1 game at a time. If we are above them for game in hand it might.make them nervous

Just don’t know who will handle pressure the best. May the best team come out on top

I’m not worried about those games right now. I’m actually very worried about the Oxford game. 1 point above the relegation zone, fighting for their lives and our trouble with those lower placed teams. It would be Coventry City all over.

Going to be difficult to get wins out of the Barnsley, Sunderland and Pompey away fixtures.

Think you are right. 5 wins from 8, plus probably a draw (hopefully v Doncaster with us above them in the table at the time).

Think we will fall short. Not by much, but just short of the required points needed. Still be a very good season though.

Grimmer was saying after the Peterborough game that the squad really fancy themselves to get to the playoffs. He said they firmly believe they have what it takes to sneak in. Liked hearing the confidence coming from the squad. I’m just keeping everything crossed & hoping we can do it.

It's a cliche, but we've got to take it one game at a time because we've only got to get 2 more points (with GD) than Doncaster over the next 8 games whilst remaining ahead of Peterborough and Blackpool.

They still have to play Luton and Sunderland, and a few potential banana skins in teams around the bottom four. Just as we have Pompey, Sunderland and Barnsley to play. If we can go into the Doncaster game 2 points behind them, I'd take that.

Maximum points at home in those four games is a must, anything less then we may fall short. I think if we can get 1 draw on our travels and a win at Donny then we will take 6th spot. We all know we wont get 4 wins at home and will have to go away to one of those big 3 needing 3 points, Barnsley our best bet as they are faltering slightly. All to play for but its still a big ask.

Coventry hanging on to Doncaster and Charlton as Portsmouth chase Barnsley, Sunderland and Luton. | Salut! Sunderland
