Exactly that. 6-7 wins from here on out is about par for the course this season and 7 wins makes us all but unreachable.

The ask for Boro and Ipswich is an exceptional run of run of form that neither have done and they both meet each and Millwall.

If both teams go unbeaten for the rest of the season and we start scoring bogeys, then we get we deserve. They’re relying on us slipping up whereas we’re relying on maintaining our form. The win v Sheff U was huge and think that’ll define our season because if we can win there, we can win at all the other grounds we need to visit.

We could do with giving a team a good hiding to score a psychological win over our rivals. Imagine if we peppered Southampton 3 or 4-0?!

+ something that I haven’t seen a lot mentioned; we’re all talking about 11 games to go, that’s not really the case. If we can get an extra point on Boro we can rule out 2 of those games as we’d be 99.99% there before Wrexham (H). So it suddenly starts condensing.

I feel that we have up to 11 cup finals ahead of us, so the nervous excitement is growing by the day. It’s a great time to be a City fan!

I do hope that we can at least clinch an automatic spot - not necessarily the title - over the course of the next 9 or 10 matches because it will be torture if it goes to the final game away to Watford.

A win at home to Wrexham on 25th April to clinch it would be great, although you won’t be hearing me complain if we do it earlier

Been on a tour of the Olympiastadion in Berlin to celebrate my 50th today. Dutch guy on the tour asked who I supported - “Ah, you are doing very well yes”

Conclusion - we are massive and going up.

I hope so too. That said, the BBC spoke him last year and asked him if he’d go to the playoff finals if we got there. He was non-committal but said his son might do something like that.

As is stands, if we can win 4 more games (not including any draws we could pick up) Millwall would need 21 points just to be level on points. So Millwall would need 7 wins from 10 just to draw level on points.
Ipswich, IF they win their game in hand, would still need 1 draw and 6 wins to reach 86.

Big asks for both of them. Especially as they both still have to play Boro and each other! We're in a fucking great position. It doesnt make me any less nervous though
