Exactly that. 6-7 wins from here on out is about par for the course this season and 7 wins makes us all but unreachable.Win 6 more games and Boro especially then require 90 points to overtake us: 8 wins out of 11. As you say, it’s not impossible but it’s a tall order-if they managed that then fair play.
I feel that we have up to 11 cup finals ahead of us, so the nervous excitement is growing by the day. It’s a great time to be a City fan!
I do hope that we can at least clinch an automatic spot - not necessarily the title - over the course of the next 9 or 10 matches because it will be torture if it goes to the final game away to Watford.
A win at home to Wrexham on 25th April to clinch it would be great, although you won’t be hearing me complain if we do it earlier
Everything looks better after you win 4 in a rowLeague table 11 games ago, since then mboro have only gained 3 points on us and Ipswich 2,
even better after 5Everything looks better after you win 4 in a row
The way wer‘e playing you won’t be far offBetter still after 4+11=15
100% - it’ll ebb and flow but really we should be looking at winning the next two. That gives us a bit of leeway should be drop points v Southampton.Everything looks better after you win 4 in a row
I would love that bloke to make a copy of that sign saying 'we're back' and hold it up at the first game next season (if we go up).
If we go up it needs to be part of the clubs celebrations.I would love that bloke to make a copy of that sign saying 'we're back' and hold it up at the first game next season (if we go up).
+ something that I haven’t seen a lot mentioned; we’re all talking about 11 games to go, that’s not really the case. If we can get an extra point on Boro we can rule out 2 of those games as we’d be 99.99% there before Wrexham (H). So it suddenly starts condensing.
That would be fitting, as it's a generation since he held that sign up.I hope so too. That said, the BBC spoke him last year and asked him if he’d go to the playoff finals if we got there. He was non-committal but said his son might do something like that.
Been on a tour of the Olympiastadion in Berlin to celebrate my 50th today. Dutch guy on the tour asked who I supported - “Ah, you are doing very well yes”
Conclusion - we are massive and going up.View attachment 49633
Should pick it up and move it to the USA. But make it gold!Went there in 1995.... it looks a lot different now!
Maybe an unpopular opinion but always felt that a full-grown bloke bringing a home-made “We’ll be back” sign to a game when we were trying to avoid relegation is deeply odd behaviour.
They wouldn’t let me take that in with me on the day, against Villa Park safety rules apparentlyThink deeply odd is going a bit far.
Deeply odd would have been if the sign was made from his dead mothers hair.

Which is great until we got tonked on the first day…

Ipswich dropping points today is more than a bit welcome.
As is stands, if we can win 4 more games (not including any draws we could pick up) Millwall would need 21 points just to be level on points. So Millwall would need 7 wins from 10 just to draw level on points.4 to go......
