Can't help thinking it would very sweet if we were promoted with 87 points

I would love that apart from its my Sons stag weekend away which is abroad for the weekend and we have joked about having to cancel it and lose the money if its a possibility

I’ve wangled my way into a Watford box for the final day, so I’m hoping it’s secure long before then

Derby at home for me. We’d have to be 18 points clear at the time though

I posted this when we were on 52 points (game week 26)

My predictions for the remaining games.
Home;
Wins - Millwall, Oxford, Stoke, Preston, Derby, Wednesday, Portsmouth, Wrexham.
Draws - Middlesboro, Southampton.
Lose - Leicester. (gone for a defeat as I can't decide on this one, depends on how the defence performs without BT.)
Away;
Wins - QPR, Swansea, Blackburn.
Draws - Norwich, Hull, WBA.
Lose - Sheff U, Bristol, Watford.
That should give us 90 points.
Lets see how accurate I am.
Click to expand...
By today (game week 33) I predicted us to be on 64 points. (wins against Millwall, Oxford, QPR. - Draws against Boro, Norwich, WBA)
I got all the actual results wrong except Millwall, but we are 1 point ahead of my predicted 64.

Just basing it on Boro Ipswich have to play each other, our GD and we will inevitably pick up 2 or 3 draws aswell

It feels like we are back on track now.
Confidence boosting win on Monday
Confidence boosting clean sheet today
Good away result against a team we historically don't do well against at their ground
Haji back amongst the goals
BTA back
Rudi back to his best
Sorted out the midfield
The defence is beginning to look much more solid
It's just such a shame our season ended 2 games ago LOL

I agree we might draw a few. I’d like 7 wins and 4 draws in the remaining games if we can do it.

6 wins 3 draws will do it

Gives us leeway to lose another 4 of the last 13 and be ok

Yes it feels as if 2 more away wins and 4 home wins will be enough, although given our home form I would be disappointed if we didn't win at least 5 of the remaining home games.

That is if we keep up the almost 2 points per game which is the season so far. That 2ppg will be difficult to maintain considering how good we were before xmas but now we have Onyeka in the midfield and we are starting to perform again, it may be possible.

That's true. But if we average 1.75 PPG from now until the end of the season, that would see us finish on 88 points which I think will be enough!

The reason I've mentioned 1.75 PPG is because Lampard has averaged 1.76 PPG over his time as our Manager:

Games Managed = 69
Wins = 36
Draws = 14
Losses = 19
Total Points = 122
Total PPG = 1.76
