Going up with absolutely no expectations and first Saturday home game of the season! So absolutely no chance of coming away disappointed, right??

Best bit is the build up. Football has been dire recently

I enjoy the few hours I spend with the old man, couple of tins first, the football usually ends up ruining it.

There's a thread going about a rumour on social media saying that there going to be no beer at the game

Nobody planning on having a decent drink before the game would plan to do that in the ground though surely? Who would chose to stand in a cold concourse surrounded by exposed concrete and full kit wankers drinking disco piss? Who does that when you can go to the pub? For those who fancy one at half time it will be a nuisance, but no big deal really.

Missing the game today as father in law had a massive stroke yesterday (not totally unexpected) but still clinging on (although won't make it beyond today). Dog/child sitting until my wife and brother in law get back from hospital.
Could do with 3 points to brighten the day !!

I know its early but its getting to the point of must win already isn't it? If we can't beat these at home and start closing that gap we're in trouble.

Sounded like Walker and Palmer had a positive impact against Birmingham so I'd start both of them.
Godden has been pretty ineffective the last few games but guess he can pop up with goals from nothing which is why he starts often

That's fine - like I say, Fred has had dementia, and not been 'him' for a while.

A joke that made me laugh the other day -

My penis was in the Guinness Book of Records...........until the librarian asked me to take it out

We need to smash these fuckers today.

Excepting Wilson that’s our strongest/best team with the injuries and suspensions. Think we win by a couple today.

11-10 or 1-0 off someone's arse. Don't care. Just keep the mini revival going until 'the gang' are all back together again. Although we could do with a win, a draw isn't the end of the world. Come on City !!
