I really think there will be a very good player in Eccles but he seems to play within himself and needs to toughen up if he’s going to make decent living out the game.A lot saying that Eccles was class based on nothing were the same ones saying Shippers etc weren't up to the level. He might still end up better, but needs a loan at L1 level. Certainly not ready yet and Howley I think similar but we don't have the squad depth or finances.

I think Ronins played to a plan tonight, no intention of playing our best players it seems. Just let the result be whatever it is. Players need some game time such as Doyle, Adarmola, Palmer regardless of how fit they are.
