Middle East consortium reveals plans for £1.5bn takeover of Arsenal

Don't get me wrong, if I had billions I'd be on it but that's coz I'm a city fan. Think that would be our only hope, anyone know and city billionaires?

Middle East consortium reveals plans for £1.5bn takeover of Arsenal

Or you just buy a Chelsea for 100 million more and they are already an established outfit. I really don't think it's about the cash, 50 mill or 150 mill (us vs Chelsea). If you had billions, which would you choose? It's about building dynasties and show the world that you can, even buying...

Middle East consortium reveals plans for £1.5bn takeover of Arsenal

I think the whole concept of any rich billionaire buying any sort of football club has escaped most, they don't give a monkeys about the money. Football is not about making money for these people, it is a play thing for them and more than likely an ego boost. All the talk of why choose...

SCG Teleconference with Tim Fisher tonight

Does anybody know where all these problems leave us with the potential new shirt sponsors? Surely no business would be wanting to join in this fiasco or pay money to Ccfc with its accounts frozen. Did TF mention any of this?

    Urgent transfusion needed

    Manager Loyalty?!

Your bang on, there is no loyalty left in the world (just made the same point on another thread) And yes it does work both ways, if clubs were more loyal then I'd guess managers would be just as loyal in return. It's a 'me' culture these days and by the looks of it that ain't gunna change.

    Urgent transfusion needed

Unfortunately you probably would, what ever happened to people being in the same job for twenty odd years. Now that's loyalty. Loyalty is old skool and I'm sad to say it seems like it is dying out with the older generations. Sad times!

Always easier to go for the simple yet effect MR. Lets hope his replacement doesn't have a double barrelled name otherwise we may be in trouble.

    robins

Quite possibly, not overly in his blood then was it.

    robins

To be fair you are right, I know nothing of what has happened however if something was 'in my blood' it would take a fair bit to get it out. You will I'm sure agree that when you have been part of something and all starts to turn pear shaped, you generally stick with it, not jump into bed...

    Urgent transfusion needed

Soon to be ex Ccfc manager Mark Robins is in urgent need of a complete blood transfusion in an attempt to remove the skyblue blood from his veins. A nationwide search is being carried out but to ensure there are no adverse reactions the donor must also be a lying little git with a very little...

    robins

Knobhead!! It's official, there is no longer any loyalty left in this world and even someone who seems, sorry seemed to speak the truth week in week out will actually lie through his teeth.

    What did Sepalla tell MR?

I'm just waiting for the time SISU actually wake up and understand this game called football. There are a few things they clearly are unaware of and all boil down to money. If you pay low wages, other clubs will cannibalise your squad, staff and management. If you don't back the...

    Being optimistic

It will be Carsley to step up and I'll bet my last fiver on an appointment in the summer.

    Not to my knowledge.

    Arrogance

I think you are seeing this through Crewe tinted glasses, you got well outplayed, by far the inferior team on the night and you managed a few break aways. Take a second to read your original post and then look what you are doing, pot...kettle....black??

    Sat in the home end......

Yids in 97/98 ish when we did 'the great escape' and stayed up against all odds. Me and my dad sat in the corner just by the drummer (yid territory) and struggled to control our celebrations. Then after the game went and joined the parting sky blue army. Great day!!
