How does the wage process work then when a club signs a player on loan then? I know for situations like when Bellamy joined Cardiff it was reported Man City were paying his wages but my understanding was that's fairly rare and the club who have taken a player on loan would be responsible for...

I would say MK was one of the best since relegation from the prem but do think that Astute is on the money, that the sad state of affairs is that we've had very few players of any class since prem days so it makes MK look a lot better. It's like if you have plain digestive biscuits every day...
