City Fan Missing - Please Help

Hi, I'm not much of a poster either and am not local now too. Put the same message on Gmk and between them they will do their best to find him.

    Ricoh or Highfield Road

It has to be Highfield Road for me, so many memories. From my dad taking me up to see us beat Man U for my first game in the mid to late seventies, Clive Allen not scoring for palace after bouncing out of the stanchion in 81 (I think) the West Ham semi final, 4-3 v Spurs christmas/new year 86...

Will Thorn be the next Eric Black?

Just watched his full interview from Saturday on facebook. Looks like he wants the job, came across well, showed humility about what he's done so far - and that was before tonight - but talked about wanting more from the players and knowing it is there. Win Sat and it's got to be his in my...

    Tonights game

Got to give him & Harrison a go, last few weeks reminiscent of the season Black took over, though we all know what happened next. Got a fair amount on us finishing higher than Derby so good win tonight.

    Summer is here nearly...

Knocked off work early as the lure of the pub garden and nipping in to watch aintree was irresistible. No winners but a fantastic afternoon. Rich there is a sky blue teddy, over-priced at £15 but my 14 month old son's grandad bought him one, which I named Alf for him and he loves it. Also...

Question for season ticket holders- Will you renew if SISU stay?

Won't be able to go next season (haven't this as have 13 month old son to look after at weekends as the wife is having chemo for breast cancer so needs me sat/sun) as he'll probably still be too young but as soon as I consider him old enough we'll be there every home game. I'll tell mum he is...

We must drive SISU out of the club - End this nightmare now!

So we owe SISU 30m or so. Reading all this tonight if that was 35-40m ish Fox and Dann would have stayed and Henderson, Cork and Carroll would have signed long term, plus god knows who else. Westwood in goal, then Fox Turner Dann and Cranie across the back, ?left mid Mcindoe/Mcsheffery/A N...

    am i alone in being-

Was busy at work for a change so only caught snippets. Is is right 7m ish was put in on Monday and we need another 4 to 5m to see us through to the end of the season? To me if that is true then its -10 pts and division 3 for sure?

    The Squad, or the Arena?

Arena, at least if knowing we benefitted from turnover that might get a few more up there.

Seriously who will be given the money to spend?

Agreed. Nearly as bad as the one on gmk that says we are being taken over by the Chinese, Dion Dublin and David Rennie.

Screw the protest; let's all sing together.

That place will never make any noise unless there is 25k ish there. Slim chance of that at the moment.

With hindsight, should City have stayed at Highfield Road?

The 6-2 against Derby when Adams was in charge and Wise was there, the morning outside the Cherry Tree before Chelsea and yes the Blackburn game was the only time I thought fuckin hell if things go right it could be good in here.

With hindsight, should City have stayed at Highfield Road?

My father in law is Derby. We saw the 6-2 at HR and the 6-1 at the Ricoh together. Going up HR after a few in the city centre was much more of a laugh than the drive to the Ricoh and back. Haven't seen HR since it went, will show my 13 month son where his dad used to go every Saturday one day...

Have to say I agree SBUN, that was the most surprising piece of what I was told, would think they'll go elsewhere. Anyway about the new manager my vote would be _brian_ the only GMK poster who has had me laughing out loud when reading at work.

    connor thomas

1st post so evening all, been passing the time at work reading GMK for a few years though. Regarding Thomas we've had the £1m, his parents received a sizeable amount and he is also on a very decent wage. Although he is still living in a hotel and is homesick (didn't want to leave us either)...
