Whatever reasons there may or may not be to be angry at the board, sisu, ranson, the players, or even Jordan Clarke... please please please can we not go backwards? The best way to support the team we all love is to sing our effin hearts out. Given the precarious nature of the situation means I think for nostalgia's sake and so show that it's not just 'football', but our history, our love, our memories, our hopes and dreams, our links with our family that makes CCFC strong, we should crack open some old school west terrace songs on Saturday.

I want to hear and sing lots of:

The Sky Blue Song,
Twist and Shout,
You Are My City,
In Our Coventry Homes...

I was only born in 1984, so it'd be great to hear some really old ones if anyone remembers any.

Actually the most annoying song I remember is not the wheelbarrow one but when I was stood on the Spion Kop in the pouring rain (Simod cup, hardly any fans - the one where Peter Billing got sent off). Two lads singing one man went to mow (you know - the chelsea one). It got to ten where it normally ends and they continued. 11, 12, 13 was quite funny ... by 15 I think we were all getting slightly fed up, by 20 we had definitely had enough, but they continued ... well at least until a few grunts and groans until eventually some bloke threatened to beat the shit out of the pair of them. BEst part was as soon as they stopped, two lads in front started singing "one man went to mow ..." Probably not as funny in text, but on a cold wed midweek game at HR it was bloody hilarious!

that's what I miss, the ricoh just feels stale to me. I appreciate it needs to be fairly full, and then we need entertaining at least a bit... I only get to about ten games a season if I'm lucky because I live in Norwich nowadays, but when I do go, I just feel like i could be watching it on telly for all the atmosphere. But that's not really why I posted this. I just want to see everyone's anger used positively.

Go for the singing and support of the team. I really miss the singing that is prevalent in Football, I think a half empty Ricoh has more atmosphere than a full NZ rugby ground. I think the crowd involvement is what shows the players that fans are bothered.

Protest about the state of the club before the game, at half time and after.

I think were going to have to deal with the fact the Ricoh will be half ful until things improve on and off the pitch but there is no reason that we can't make it sound like its a sell out. Im in, lets crack out the old numbers and go for it saturday, instead of protestng with a sit in or whatever it would be good to remind the board whose club it actually is by them hearing the crowd
