Well we would need to get rid of one more to fit Onyeka in the squad so I can see another one moving out. Probably one of Bidwell or Brau. I’m sure if the right player was available the ideal scenario would be to move both out and bring in a new LB but I can’t see it happening

He’s perfect for what we need though. If we do make the Premier League, we aren’t going to be able to pass teams the top teams off the park and dominate games anyway and we would need more defensive minded players. Sounds like he would suit us down to the ground even if we went up.

I can’t see a player like that coming in and sitting on the bench for a bit. He has extensive PL and Bundesliga experience as well as recently playing most of the time for Nigeria at AFCON so will be fit and ready to go and we clearly need him too.

I believe the rumour was Kai Andrews to go on loan to Wigan if we could get in a CM. I think that would be a great loan and allow him to show what he can do in a tough league.

Exactly this. He is often left on his own in the middle of the park to play against 3, sometimes even 4 when they pack out the midfield. Not much he can do when we are leaving him so isolated.

We really need to push the boat out and make some really statement top quality signings now. I don’t want to hear those who are happy to accept what we’ve got and be anti signings. We’ve got a real chance to make the Premier League. The trajectory we are on now, that could soon be slipping.

Josh Eccles definitely. Bidwell absolutely not. If JDS gets injured then we drop a lot of points (as already seen this season when he was out for 3 games). It is a considerable risk having only one competent LB for a charge at Autos.

Esse was a smart signing as we needed cover on the wings and someone to push/rotate with Tats. It definitely isn’t a statement signing however
