    WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

I'm not saying that beating Wolves was bigger..... i'm saying it can't have such a huge euphoric impact as its been coming over 3/4 of a season, rather than just one 90 minute game. You can see it on here daily..... everyone is wanting that "moment" where its sealed.... but we're not really...

    WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

Its because its been coming for many months and has been expected. There's absolutely no way its going to carry the same euphoria as, say, beating Wolves in injury time to get to Wembley. Its more a sense of relief that its done. I do think Ipswich may well beat us to the title (and to be...

Where were you when we were.....

Well i'm not petty enough to fall out with people over football. I'm quite clear that i think he's a clown though.....

Where were you when we were.....

Mate on my whatsapp supported LIverpool 5 years ago. Now supports city and is moaning about people "jumping on the bandwagon". Oh yeah he also supported Wasps before us.

Who do you want in our first hime game next season?

Agree with this. Momentum is massive..... granted Sunderland spent loads and it paid off.... but its still small margins and a quick start transformed them. Would fancy Sunderland at home actually. Bit of needle there, and would like to think its winnable.

Is Promotion Bigger Than the FA Cup Win?

Agree 100% with this. At the time (and i was very young), winning the Cup seemed on a par with winning the league. In the history of CCFC, for that reason, i'd say the cup is bigger..... but nowadays due to diminished standing of the cup, promotion is probably bigger.

You're quite right. I'm sure the match above was delayed 15mins though.

Video CCFC vs Chelsea in CCFC colours

It was one of my favourite matches at Highfield Road. As you say there was a lot at stake. It was just a few days after Princess Diana died, and they played that candle in the wind song before the start. And the kickoff was delayed 15mins due to congestion. Fantastic atmosphere. The relief...

    Holiday's 2026

I'm possibly going to Seville in November.... combining with a couple of days in Madrid beforehand. Trouble is, i also want to go to Genoa for a week and explore the coast round there (and see Sampdoria/Genoa play). I've only got enough leave to do one of them this year.

Match Thread Hull City - Coventry City Monday 5th April Ko 8PM

Someone said something i don't 100% agree with...... they must "hate us"

Match Thread Hull City - Coventry City Monday 5th April Ko 8PM

No they don't. The coverage of City has been overwhelmingly positive all season. (granted i'm sure mainly due to having Lampard as manager) Every club's fans are convinced the media hates them, its pathetic really.

    We’re 4pts from promotion

I'd usually be saying we need the 5..... But such is the GD advantage... and picking up 4pts cuts at least two more games for the GD swing..... we can rest easy with 4. Although as said above, we're probably about there already..... one more win seals it for me.

    Running

Nice one, thats a superb time. Incidentally i broke my 10km pb during my fastest 10 mile race. Never broke 60 though, and i'm not sure i ever will.

    Permutations

Whilst i'd usually agree with this, we aren't letting slip a 20-30 goal advantage. I've been hesitant to say it, but its more or less done now.

    Running

Really tough day at Battersea today. Held on to 17min pace exactly until 3km (went through 3km in 10:12 which is a pb)...... but i was already feeling the strain..... started to fall off the pace quite sharply.... once i knew 17mins was gone i somewhat gave up mentally..... pretty much...

    Championship thread 25/26!

Not sure what Middlesbrough's run in is.... they may have came up a little short against Millwall, but they're still going to pick up plenty of points, as they're considerably better than the vast majority of the division (hence their league position)
