    Standing for CCC Leader

I've had enough of the CCC and their venum against the Sky Blues. I have lots of contacts in Westminster and the Whitehouse and I'm going to get it sorted. I move in powerful circles and by the end the city will have a choice of nine or ten stadiums all owned by the club and we'll arrange it...

20 goal a season striker, main priority

He's played 70 times for West Brom under 21s and you believe that they only picked him as a political gesture? You are deluded.

20 goal a season striker, main priority

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/look-seven-premier-league-under-21-9253392 What I like most about this article is the picture of Adil Nabi at West Brom. In the 70s West Brown was the first club to start black players and from that photo it looks like they now have...

    Spine of the Team

A good team has a spine, wings, a heart, an engine, lungs and legs that keep going for 90 minutes and a fox in a box. Exceptional teams also have an artist in the hole. I'm just glad I've never met one down a dark alley.

    Former players

I can't think of any that were as good or better than when released. I imagine that's natural given the kind of club we are: if they play well they are sold. They only return if they haven't been playing well elsewhere for some time.

    If

I think that Joy has misunderstood the Kipling poem: "if you can risk it [all] on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose... you'll be a women my daughter"

    Maddison on the spot...

Well then if that's true - i.e. we have to sell to balance the books - then he'll go. Don't understand why you think SISU would want to run a continual loss.

    John Eustace

I seem to recall he had knee issues when he played for us, so not really a surprise that he still does. Or am I imagining it?

    Maddison on the spot...

That's a huge dose of poetic license from the CET. People weren't given the option to choose £3m - the actual price paid for Wilson. And they weren't asked if they thought he was worth more than Wilson either.

    Maddison on the spot...

If you look at the penalties he's taken, you can see that he's letting the keeper commit before passing into the net on the other side. Very cool head.
