    Perhaps that's why they went on rent strike? They needed that money for up and coming legal fees. I feel another rent strike coming. I would argue though that the rent regardless of how extortionate it was, was a wiser investment than the legal fees. At least we got something in return for it.

    Doesn't letting them finish the season of the rent strike and then offering repeatedly lower offers to first stay and then return with them ultimately returning dismiss a claim that they were forced out? Especially as they refused to respond to those offers?
