    What's to sell

You said we had a good pedigree of producing players. Good pedigree implies decent players, not mostly lower league like we have. Perhaps Southampton have recently invested in the infrastructure? Tbf and it contradicts me a bit but no teams sustain production of good young players, United...

    What's to sell

What pedigree? How many players have we produced that have gone on to sustain careers at the highest level? How many have even been capped? CCFC youth development seems to fall apart when players reach 17-18, not sure what it is.

    What's to sell

Southampton benefit from having a large catchment area and relatively little competition for the best young players. Yes, Portsmouth is nearby but they didn't invest in youth (hence their current position).

    Main tactical change needed

Yep. Need a midfielder that drives forward. Moussa would be ideal, not playing much at Charlton.

    SBT Statement

Why are the Trust bothered about whether or not there is an independent inquiry? As it has no impact on CCFC I don't understand why they're bothering to write about it?

Does Pressley shoulder all the blame for this

Realistically they're going to be on decent money. The club cannot afford to pay individual players Baker level wages, it's a bit of a moot point.

Waggott - We Have Emerged Stronger From January Than When We Entered it

Does he mean we've got a better squad and thus are underachieving to a greater extent now than we were?

    Sad reality of our city

The Sky dream of football isn't about attending matches it's about watching on television. Major events aren't the FA Cup 3rd round draw it's the Transfer Deadline day.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Carry on. It probably won't help CCFC either way mind you.

    Can you provide the answers?

He started playing Wilson in his first season whilst Robins had completely ignored him. Funny really.

    Tv Deal

Good point. The issue exists all over football. Some clubs and other organisations outsource catering to companies like Compass who employ young people on zero hours contracts.

    Can you provide the answers?

I've got to agree with that, apart from McGoldrick who was lost in Robins' tenure. It's part of the reason why I've always been sympathetic to Pressley. He lost what 50 goals in the summer (regardless of the reasons). Any manager would struggle against the backdrop as well as the myriad other...

    Pressley out

I think he should go but the players are also a fucking disgrace. The likes of Jackson have turned up and done fuck all.

Don't pay for it. Anybody with a genuine interest in football wouldn't.

    Scunthorpe Match Thread

While I think it's probably time for him to go. I don't think Pressley is a c**t. Some of the personal digs are harsh. He's tried his best but it isn't good enough.
