The reality is that we've probably not even seen half of that fee yet. They like to demonstrate they got a good price for a player but it comes back to bite when the cash isn't immediately realised.

He was awesome in that first season, so of course the following season he was shunted out to the right wing to accommodate the returning Gary McAllister. You do wonder about the credibility of the 'tapping up' of Boateng by Dion Dublin.
