I think they had a game plan so sit in and soak up pressure and hit on the break or at set pieces, a tactic that is serving them in the Prem currently.

The defence may have been in shape but they're all running back towards goal, that puts them at a disadvantage. Prior to that not having anyone put pressure on the ball allows 3 or four unchallenged simple passes and the free cross onto the box allowed near pinpoint accuracy. Decent finish too...
It is probably tactical, it's probably also a lack of something (form, confidence or whatever) that has shown us up the last batch of games. In game management needs to be better.
