short term thinking expecting long term results

What long term commitment's do we have with the exception of Ryton. We've all just praised the owners and rightly so for investing more than required in the academy, great stuff. But what's the commitment to Higgs centre? A rolling one year contract last I heard. That's hardly future proofing by...

short term thinking expecting long term results

Let me ask you a simple question. Have you ever worked for a successful company that doesn't have a long term plan?

short term thinking expecting long term results

It wasn't the length of the contracts that were the issue, it was the size of the wages in the contracts that crippled the club for overrated underachieving players. Most people thought tying SP into a long contract was a good thing at the time including yourself IIRC. Most of the players we...

short term thinking expecting long term results

It's a recipe for failure Manager on a two year contract. Stadium on a two plus two year contract. Too many loan players. Too many players on short contracts already thinking about next season. Is it any surprise our season is faltering? How many in the dressing room are expecting to be...

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

That's what made me think. I was sure he was present at some preseason games. Maybe CA got it wrong? No biggie either way, just means his payment is coming out of this seasons accounts and SP got more than thought.

He looked to me like he had a twisted ankle he was trying to walk of (right ankle IIRC) but couldn't.

Tudgay is pretty handy in the air for a little guy though. Not as good as a big guy but always seems to win more than his fair share when you consider his stature.

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33734194 I think I'm right. Neil MacFarlane's departure was announced at the end of July 2015 so why would his payoff be in the accounts for year ending May 2015? Doesn't make sense to me. Maybe he was afraid to tell his wife he'd lost his job and the club...

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

If they ran to May 31st 2015 that does ask one question. Neil MacFarlane's payoff has been referenced a few times as an expense but I thought he didn't leave until July 2015?

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

I'm not sure when the clubs financial year start's and end's. If it's in the summer between seasons then you are of course right. If it's April to April though for instance then a number of games from the previous season would be included wouldn't they?

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

Would these accounts include the windfall from the Arsenal cup game or was that the previous years? Also how many games from Northampton does this include? Also wouldn't our parting gift of a new pitch for Northampton also have come out of this? If the Arsenal money was in the previous years...

    Council Hearing Match Thread

An opinion based on what? It's the blokes field of work, it's what he's not only qualified to do but vastly experienced in. Like I said if it reads biased it's more likely that it's because he actually understands what he's doing and the complaint has no merit. He can hardly "lean" towards a...

Perhaps he's just a lawyer with experience in this field so unlike you he's not jumping to conclusions on what he assumes is the interpretation of the law/ethics guidelines put 2 & 2 together and come up with a gazillion. Maybe he just has the relevant skills and experience to determine what...

I have to ask why this surprises anyone? It's always happened and always will. Whether that's papers being asked not to report that Prince Harry is serving in Afghanistan and at the other end of the scale to printing untruth's about what happened at Hillsborough the papers have always have and...

    Council Hearing Match Thread

Given the gripe I would say no. From what I read it was pure character assassination. There didn't seem to be any argument of they did this and it breaks the councils ethics code because of X, Y & Z. It was a gripe for the sake of griping, not a structured argument from what I read. Admittedly I...

    Council Hearing Match Thread

I suspect it was character assassination ahead of the JR appeal (although in the end the second round came to late for that) and ahead of JR2. Imagine if it was found against the council and you could reference that even the council found against themselves. That would have been a good weapon in...

What if the market value was a fiver? Sounds like you're the one changing the narrative Dave not me. "For all we know Sepalla could have offered Lucas £100m at their meeting" you know your scenario was more believable when you suggested the offer was a fiver. If SISU had have tabled any formal...

What a crock of shit. The rental agreement was broken by the administration process and are we really supposed to believe that a hedge fund is so sensitive that they ran away crying to Northampton because big bad ACL hurt their feelings. Either they're in the wrong business or you're practicing...
