Match Thread Walsall v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 29th Oct

I've only been there twice, the 6-1 game and the 1-0 win when Thompson scored a cracker, Sunday in 2001.

    Big 8 days ahead

It was shite. Lots of people there who never go. The round before against Blackburn was better, as was the Middlesbrough home game. Even the Leeds 3-2 at home was good despite the defeat.

Oh no, Sky Blue Kid's logic strikes again. It turns out that it wasn't 34 miles to Northampton after all (34 miles being the distance between the Ricoh and Sixfields). From the centre of Coventry (used the council house for ease) to Sixfields is only 31.6 miles

    Some financial matters

You sound quite clued up, lets be honest, the way SISU sorts of people operate, companies listed at Companies House are fronts only and don't really tell you all that about their performance.

It is 26.6m from where Wasps amateur rugby side play (i.e. the general area where Wasps belong) to Adams Park in Wycombe. That's 53.2m round trip. Why are you always so far off the mark?

By Calista's logic, CCFC, having played for a year in Northampton can too be considered as a franchise club and should move to the first place that welcomes them.

Will Wasps aquiring the Ricoh damage CCFC?

Actually, I can sort of see where shmmeee is coming from. If the question is "Did the move to the Ricoh damage CCFC?" Yes. It was and is an utter disaster.

Will Wasps aquiring the Ricoh damage CCFC?

The only thing that 'allowed' Wasps to come in was the council. After all, the council said of its loan to ACL in January 2013 (whilst the club was not paying rent): The fact ACL was ever struggling was down to the council who set it up with a £21m debt from day one.

Yeah, it's brilliant. I love the atmosphere over there, no pretentiousness at all. Also in the middle of it there is Schweine Janes:

    John Fleck

I've just read the thread about Fleck, you'd think it was Paul Scholes they'd signed. Perhaps it's because they've often been the epitome of anti-football (Bassett, Warnock etc)

    John Fleck

Exactly, that's my point. I've just had a browse of the Sheffield United forum, talk about hubris.
