    Jimmy Hill Tribute - BBC1 - Tonight - 10:45pm

I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that was driven by the Hill family. They clearly have alot of good memories of Coventry with Jamie Hill doing a bit of a tour of Coventry, 91 Cannon Hill Rd wasn't it that was the old family home he was outside of, later handed to the Yorath family. Also...

    Jimmy Hill Tribute - BBC1 - Tonight - 10:45pm

Especially Bryony at the end talking about taking some of his ashes back to Coventry. Nice to hear her talking about how he always looked for Coventry's scores first, even before Brentford and Fulham. Great man.

    Jimmy Hill Tribute - BBC1 - Tonight - 10:45pm

I hope someone from SISU are watching this. A good lesson on how to run a club and inspire a City.

    Butts park arena?

That doesn't carry any clout. Try googling Mildenhall stadiums court case. Someone bought a house a couple of miles away and promptly started suing the owners over noise and won despite the site of Mildenhall stadium being a motorsport venue for the best part of a hundred years and the house...

    Butts park arena?

That only tells you about the people who will wait, not the people who won't. The people who won't go and spend their money elsewhere maybe never to return. It's OK selling cars making hay when the sun shines you're talking about a once a year, two year maybe three year cycle. Football is in the...

Every other club clearly has it wrong. SISU have outsmarted them ;)

    Butts park arena?

Because more people get to go, it will be more than 10K in total because it won't the same extra 10K going everytime we sell out. That's more than 10k people who make a connection with the club, spend money on pies, maybe buy merchandise. That could be 10k plus people that the club could lose...

The whole thing is if's and buts at the moment. Or is that if's and butts?

    Butts park arena?

I know. It's almost like the clubs future is the most important thing to me in all of this

    Butts park arena?

Just to add. I'm not concerned about the car parking issue. Like has been said there's some capacity in the city centre, park and ride possibilities even the standards place next door has some parking that might be negotiable on match days. Has the old colleges car park been developed yet? Is...

    Butts park arena?

I'd be happy with 25k but just do it in the first place and future proof the place. You can also guarantee that building it at 25K will be considerably cheaper in the long run than building it 15k and expanding to 25k when promoted. When you couple that into lost ticket revenue while said...

    Butts park arena?

I'm not saying I don't. Mincing around Butts does have a good ring about it though :)

We get a mention in Paliament

We were on a few weeks ago (sort of) on the final question. It was players who had played in an FA cup final in the 80's IIRC. Most of ours were pointless.

    Butts park arena?

I think its already been pointed out that if CCC refuse it the next step is to appeal to the secretary of state. If true and they start legal preceding's of the back of CCC refusing the only possible outcome would be go and appeal to the secretary of state. Be a pointless exercise in that case...

    Butts park arena?

The reason I'm unsure Dumbo head is the same reason you should be unsure. We don't have a plan, building or financial to make an informed decision from. What is there to be sure about exactly?

    Butts park arena?

Bournemouth aren't being run cost neutral. They have a wealthy backer willing to put his hand in his pocket. Bournemouth's success hasn't been built on ticket revenue and 365day a year revenue.

    Butts park arena?

I don't disagree with the cultural benefits at all, I love the location and I could live with a capacity on 25K as that will be somewhere near the capacity of the ground most of us didn't want to leave in the first place. But lets not kid ourselves that this will be done for cultural reasons...
