    Candidates for the CCFC post.

How could it be? We finished 7th in the late 80s in the top flight. In essence any top flight finish is better than what Adams achieved but yes, it was the highest finish for some years in any league.

I think the first game post SISU taking over was that Sheffield Wednesday away game that was abandoned due to rain. I got absolutely soaked in rain first then beer and missed my last train home. Thinking back, the writing was on the wall from day one!

That silly mare seems to have given up on CCFC a few years back

    What would be your ideal...

This top flight would have no TV deals and there would be one live match broadcast per week on terrestrial TV.

    What would be your ideal...

It's an idealist thing really. Never really enjoyed playing Norwich or Ipswich.

    Candidates for the CCFC post.

Adkins had a decent spell at Scunny but I don't think he built their team. At Southampton he had a budget many multiples of CCFC's.

    What would be your ideal...

Top flight, if we ever got there? Which teams would you want up there with us? Let's try and lighten the mood a bit... I reckon: Arsenal Spurs West Ham Chelsea QPR Southampton Villa Wolves West Brom Leicester Derby Forest Sheff Wed Leeds Man Utd Man City Everton Liverpool Newcastle

The protest on Sky against Sheffield is becoming a farce.

I had merely stated that the gate was 10,409 on that Sunday afternoon in the Premier League. You assumed it was a put down. That assumption then led you to defend the gate based firstly on the fact that a stand was closed, then on a chance that the match might have been all ticket. You really...

    The Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Thread!

Yeah, he failed at another basket case of a club so evidently will do better here. Talk about disproving your own point!

Does anyone else get the feeling?

That's what a lot of the protest groups want though isn't it? In fact, they want even less than that, many say they are relishing liquidation and starting again....

Great point. Can you be the first caller on to Tim Fisher on CWR on Friday?

The protest on Sky against Sheffield is becoming a farce.

Did you ever go to HR when all entrance to the ground was "ALL TICKET" making it almost impossible for most fans to get to the ground to buy a ticket?... This went on for quite a few years. Yes, I remember a number of 'all ticket' games. What it meant was that you had to go the match day...

    The Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Thread!

Once again he's not the man, we don't need another 'name' manager. He was lucky to inherit solid foundations from Clough and Rowett at Burton. We're in the position where foundations haven't been laid. I don't think he's the man to do it.
