Your Ideas On Moving The Club Forward

Why would they do that? It's not realistic to expect them to drop any sort of bargaining tool, especially to a council who has never ever tried to do the club a single favour.

Your Ideas On Moving The Club Forward

PR / Marketing might work for mass market products, it won't work for something like a football team. The absolute key is to improve the product itself. It doesn't necessarily mean getting rid of SISU, but I can't deny doing so would probably see some bounce of optimism.

Venus set to stay until January

    Ludicrous decision from the club.

Brian Richardson or Tim Fisher ?

Talk about rose-tinted specs. Despite all the money he spent, indebting the club irreparably, our highest finish was still only 11th (many of our peers spent less and did better). We were effectively relegated twice. We sold our home of 100 years without having a replacement. The damage...

    JR2 - SISU's bargaining tool?

The kind offer of the council to extend the lease before their debt was repaid got rid of that little problem.

    JR2 - SISU's bargaining tool?

No, you're not the only one. I am glad it's happening to hopefully get some facts out in the open.

Steve McKenzie (ex Man City and WBA

The Hutchinson diving header was very good too. MacKenzie's goal is the pick of the bunch I think. Funny actually watching the clip of Hutchinson's goal for City, CCFC links all over the place (Bennett to Ranson (via Reeves) to Hutchinson)!

Scored one of the many great goals in the 1981 cup final.

    U18/U21 Development Thread

The ridiculous thing about Sambou (and Mowbray could and should have managed this better imo by giving him cameos in the tame run in last season), is that he would probably be getting regular football this season.

    Nothing to consider

93% in favour of him standing aside, must be a record.

    Worst City team in history?

Politicians will blame what works for them politically. They're hardly going to blame the c**t of a labour MP who put all the ingredients in place for the current SISU disaster.

    Worst City team in history?

Leicester and Derby moved to grounds they OWNED. They moved because both of them needed to due to capacity restraints, which was never really an issue with CCFC and definitely wasn't by 2005.

    Our Shots on Goal

We're extremely negative. Shooting will never be accurate when it's more often than not from outside the box. I'm sick of managers and their obsession with 1 up front.

Match Thread Cambridge v Coventry Match Thread - Sunday 4th Dec

You've heard Venus (and Mowbray) speak. They've got about as much gravitas as Mr Bean

Have we 'won' a first half under Venus? Not only does he fuck about with line ups and systems. He clearly does not and can not motivate players. He needs to be gone asap. I would be tempted to promote Eden from the u23s.
