    What depressing stats!

    Sturridge for England- cash windfall?

As hes now at Chelsea i imagine all clauses are now nil and void. Had he got a cap while at Man C I imagine we would have included such clause (we'd have been silly not to).

    some might find this interesting..

I still to this day like Strachan. Yes he got us relegated, but he kept us up a few seasons prior to that. Managers get teams relegated but that doesnt make them bad people! Yes he spent alot, but rarely gave everyone a chance, and he had his favourites, sorry favourite (we all know who that...

Would you trust sisu with the half ownership of the ground?

I wouldnt trust them with anything! Look how they've messed our club up. The stadium tbf is pretty well run at the moment, and if SISU bought it they'd introduce their own systems and we all know how they will work out if the past history is anything to go by.

MAN CITY - UK Barcelona ???

Silva is immense! Best player in the prem imo! Even tho they'll have bought it, it will be good to see a team outside of 'the big 4' (not that this exists anymore , ayleast not with the origonal 4 teams anyway) come into the mix, especially if they run away with the league!

When Saturday Comes - Spoilt for Choices?

I did wonder what CWR were on about. Being told you are 'free to find another club' does not mean 'been freed from the club'. Id say he's def still on our books because I seen him leaving with his family after the Burnley game. Now if you'd been released by the club, who have told your no...

    Cardiff City fixture change?

Yes, i did read this somewhere and it will happen as league fixtures are always re-arranged around cup games (even though imo League is more impprtant, but I suppose there is a tighter time frame between cup rounds than there is over a whole league season)

Can we do the double over Forest???

But if we have genuine investors / owners who want to run us properly then its more likely that the council will consider selling or atleast veto the Alan Higgs stake being sold. Is wishful thinking at best tho!

Can we do the double over Forest???

Wonder if the Chinese would be interested in buying us now that they've dropped out of buying Forest?? (I take it thats what you were referring to; im just putting it into a question).

    Sacking of Sven, Bad News

    I agree SkyBlueLoyal.

    The slating of Andy Thorn

Have we not signed THREE players this season? AT is showing naivity. we thought he was learning lessons as the season goes on, Saturday has shown that he hasnt! His tactics, and more importantly decision making, i.e subs, have been poor to say the least. I appreciate the way he wants us to play...

Would a new regime stick with Andy Thorn

Depending on who takes over, there may be a change. If there is, id like to see Thorn return as cheif scout as apposed to being sacked altogether. He has proven he can find a gem or two, but on the other hand, he was responsible for the likes of Mcindoe, Bell etc so he also finds duff ones too

    Bell was shocking

I dont know why Thomas was moved from the tip of the diamond. I thought he'd given us a much better option in the previous 2 games prior to Burnley!

TACTICS - Vulnerable on Corner Kicks

Wasnt Colemans response to this 'check the stats' or 'Man Utd do it', neither comment had any point though imo. Im not sure why they all inists on doing it, and it was ironic when Coleman was commentating at the world cup, asking his co-commentator 'why isnt he leaving a man up when defending...

    Thorn Post Match Interview

We all like a bit of honesty from the manager, but this beyond that! This was a public humiliation of an 18 yr old kid. He says he wants to look after the younsters in our team? I beg to differ after yesterday

    Thorn got it wrong today...

Heres hoping Gael reads this forum and knows that atleast the fans support him, as Im sure the other players do also. Good point raised above about the reported unrest in the camp. If Thorn can be that abusive, and arrogant, which I believe he was, in a post match interview which is aired to...

    Thorn got it wrong today...

Why would he slate an 18 yr old who made a mistake but not once admit that that David Bell has been pure shite all season??
  18. sw88

    Chris Hussey

He's brilliant going forward, and his cross for the goal was class! However when it comes to defending, probably because he gets little or no support from midfield, i worry. One thing for sure, is that he and Christie have to be by far our best crossers in the team!
  19. sw88

    oh dear ROD

Ha, this was commical. He was never gonna win that race. He has been very disappointing to say the least. To think Boothroyd, and I believe it was Boothroyd who brought him here, and not that we had him on our 'radar' before, thought he could give us something, and offer him a THREE year...

    Thorn got it wrong today...

Teo people made grave errors today; Bigi, for obvious reasons, and Thorn for his naivity. If he hasnt twigged now what needs to be done to try and hold a lead, then we need to be worried. His one change was like for like. Why? If he wanted to change it upfront i feel Juke would have been the...
