Funny that, the crowd for that game in total was probably less than the 15K who went to Sheffield for the quarter final what a week or two later?
Edit: 12878 gate on 7th March. 48005 gate on 14th March of which 15K were City! In fairness the weather probably had a big part to play...
Views on his time at City?
Personally, think he was a good player who got a hard time off the fans. One thing I think he lacked was a yard of pace, probably a result of that serious knee injury. His crossing was excellent.
The fact he sat with you and talked football for an hour or two says it all. Can you imagine any of the prima donna clowns who manage today doing that?
Be delighted to have Simon Jordan on board with his brilliant track record. Perhaps his ineptitude will usher in fan ownership like it did at Palace in the end.
Him appreciating in value over 12-18 months would surely match the cost of keeping him.
The problem is will SISU be willing to front the Club's losses in that period?
Where have I said that I don't believe there will be an about turn in fortune? I'm talking about here and now and any about turn in fortune will have nothing to do with NOPM, it'll be a coincidence.
The same old boring NOPM dickheads trying to justify themselves not attending as some sort of moral crusade rather than admitting they don't like 3rd tier football.
