    Match Thread Gael

I wasn't wrong. Didn't pass judgment either way on him as I thought that the best thing to do. Let the lad prove what sort of player he is I say and he seems to be doing that. Fair play to Bigi. Bad luck Grendull.

    Could this be the CB

He's a unit like Reda but I don't think his injury record is bad enough to be a new Reda ;)

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

Doesn't mean it isn't a club in waiting. Clubs do change colours and names you know. Coventry City didn't always play in sky blue, Nuneaton town used to be called borough, Rugby town used to be VS Rugby. Things change and for different reasons. Not saying anything is going to happen. I don't...

    CET mini Summary of events

The difference is Wasps seem to be able to come up with a vision, are capable of sitting down with those that they need to and enter meaningful discussions on their own like grown ups, come to an agreement, arrange finances by whatever ever means and then deliver on that vision. Forget when did...

Totally. You claim it's a white elephant when clearly it has a usefulness as a sports stadium hence other parties was interested in it. How could it be a white elephant in that case? It can't can it? That would be a contradiction in terms. The site would have to be redeveloped if it was a white...

Yes. That's why I understood that you were talking nonsense as usual with your usual duality.

So you must be delighted that the council unloaded such a burden on to Wasps then instead of us. You clearly think that the council did us a big favour and should have praise heaped on them for helping us dodge that bullet. Clearly you also don't back JR 2 as you clearly believe that Wasps paid...

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

I can't help but wonder if the United owners have done all this in anticipation of CCFC being liquidated at some point to get the jump on the league pyramid for a phoenix club. CCFC get liquidated, United change name to something like AFC CCFC and change colours to sky blue etc. but not having...

Rugby town has a great set up. It's a stand alone facility to.

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

Not really. At the end of the season we disappear one less team goes down from whatever league we were in and all other promotions and is relegations remain the same readdressing the imbalance.

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

I would think it's more likely that it would just save someone from relegation at the end of said season to readdress the numbers.

    letter in todays cov telegraph

"A white elephant is a possession which its owner cannot dispose of and whose cost, particularly that of maintenance, is out of proportion to its usefulness" You must be delighted that CCC offloaded it on to Wasps then instead of lumbering us with it if you truly believe it's a white elephant...

Don't have the investors to put the money in. There simply is no other explanation. Same reason they'll never build one either.

    letter in todays cov telegraph

True. But you said it was a worthless white elephant that no one else would be interested in. So at the end of the day you're no smarter than the people who said it was worth £60M. Doesn't seem to stop you thinking that you are though.
