I would love the club to be taken over by no owners with
the club's best interests at heart
who wouldn't repeat the mistakes of the past.
Unfortunately, GH & Co hasn't demonstrated it can meet either criteria. I've nothing to say thank you for, false hope is probably worse than no hope.
If Hoffman and co are the certain of achieving such levels of return why don't they stump up the equivalent value in cash so the club hasn't got SISU on its mind for the next few years?
I'll trade your fat lady singing for when the fat pig flies. £10m....
B. Where is the guarantee here? What if the club doesn't sell £3m worth of players in 3 years? It makes nothing from selling players (the only thing keeping it from further significant losses every year). Are the fans...
The secrecy thing is laughable as well. We have a 'consortium of Coventry businessmen' but no idea who they are or how many there are. It could be just Joe Elliott for all we know.
They're clearly miles apart, I wouldn't bother meeting the consortium if I was JS either tbh. They're offering to let you keep something you already have (Ryton) and attributing a value to it. Ridiculous.
That's what worries me and I mentioned it before. It feels like they're scraping around somewhat.
If the seller isn't convinced of the potential of the club to achieve the objectives, how must an investor feel about its prospects.
I genuinely hope that those teams who want to fuck off and play in a super league in Qatar for billions of TV money, taking the nauseating Leicester type happy clappers with them.
