    Should Mark Robins be sacked?

The inexperienced player + experienced assistant did us brilliantly in the past

    Bottlejob

Well mostly, he was successful 6 years after he was at United, having been given the time to put together a very good squad and been fortunate that United were in a golden era of producing their own players.

Does the budget reflect our position?

    I agree with that actually

Does the budget reflect our position?

Good that you've brought Burton up, the secret isn't necessarily money then is it? Burton are however the embodiment of long term planning and stability, which means keeping squads together and allowing your manager to build. Plenty on here should think about that.

Does the budget reflect our position?

It's all relative though, the club does not get to the end of one financial year and draw a line under it, so last year's and this year's accounts are inextricably linked (and OSB essentially says as much)

Does the budget reflect our position?

Bawtryneal who knows the Rotherham board said it's to get around FFP rules, which, if true, suggests the the club is spending all of its permitted income on the squad/wages.

Does the budget reflect our position?

Because you're taking utter shit. Making things up. You can't make an argument with no evidence to back it. Likewise it can't be argued against for the same reasons.

Does the budget reflect our position?

We have no idea how much the money has actually been made from any transfers (pretty much all undisclosed or unverified), what the financial position was at the end of last season against budget, or what the assumptions were for setting the budget this season. So, to summarise, the post is...

    Should Mark Robins be sacked?

  15. fernandopartridge

    Should Mark Robins be sacked?

No. The club has a short termist mentality and has done since the 60s. The fans help to drive it.

    Should Mark Robins be sacked?

No. His record is better than any manager we've had for many years. Do Cov fans ever learn? The same knee jerk "let's sack him" shite every time. All based on this idea that we're rich in resource!? He's missing a number of players you'd expect to see in the side. Give the bloke a break and...

Have a day off. Lads I'm letting you off with today's performance because of a player who isn't in the squad.

    Liam Kelly =

As do 10 others. I don't think the defeat Saturday would have been avoided even if Kelly had been better.
