As soon as I see that hashtag i ignore whatever they've written. Usually people who weren't the least bit interested in the EU until June 2016.
The 'love EU' flag at that march last week! How can you love a supra national political institution?
Agreed on that, I have said time and time again that the setup of ACL and its 50 year lease + YB loan is the problem and subsequent events are pretty much all traced back to it. That all falls at the feet of those on the council who made the decisions.
It says committed to doesn't it, SISU might have know of the interest, not that it was a fait accompli like it really was which was contrary to the council's public statements.
What you heard within the council might be different though Jack
Council's argument seems a bit mixed up. Is the QC implicitly admitting that they might have done wrong, but it doesn't matter because the claimant hadn't made an offer anyway?
The council is arguing that money isn't necessarily an important factor so not necessarily. The lease could have been extended for very little or even with the expectation of some sort of peppercorn rent.
Where has Corbyn moaned about us leaving? He's only said Labour whatever deal we get or don't get from Brexit will need to meet tests. Never suggested another referendum or a pointless people's vote
