Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

The article says that plans are now being submitted for the proposed Olympics pool on the site. The proposal was that it would go where the indoor pitch is currently situated. No indoor pitch no Cat 2 status which means loss of funding and worse still less attractive to young talent who are...

    Match Packages

If you can use it to book online and pick your seats you’re a better man than me. My advice is if you want to pick your seats get to the ground in enough time to use the ticket office. If you do happen to work out how to use your match package online and pick your seats can you let me in on the...

    Blackpool FC up for sale

The statement from BFC about now being put on the market and why is probably a good hint as to when sisu will go i.e. not until JR2 is concluded. Here’s hoping that the appeal fails and they have no where else to go with it. Sooner JR2 is over the sooner they’ll look for an exit.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You seriously lack attention to detail. No wonder you’re clueless. I said across the currency board.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

But there was still a crash which is the point I’m making. You’re also isolating the dollar. It happened across the board. Of the top of my head and without looking at the figures I would think that the picture is even uglier against the euro than it is the dollar although you would be correct...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So let me get this right. You’re in complete denial that the pound crashed the day after the referendum across the currency board not just the dollar and is yet to recover to anything near pre referendum levels?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

If things like metals, oil etc are traded worldwide in USD$ which they are when you convert what you spend in USD back to GBP it costs you more after the pound has crashed than it did before. That’s not peddling pro EU rubbish that’s maths. Sorry if that’s too complicated for you to understand...

Disposable income has fell by an average of 2% in the UK during 2017. That’s the biggest decline in six years and with families being hardest hit.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

A falling pound can make UK exports look attractive, which is what think you’re trying to say and pound to the dollar or any other currency that is correct. However if you’re a UK manufacturer and the product you make relies on raw materials that are imported and traded in dollars such as metal...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Half the information? Some on here would have you believe that the FTSE has made gains as some sort of brexit miracle that we don’t need to explain. If being aware that the FTSE is almost exclusively made up of companies that trade internationally so when they convert their dollars, euros, yen...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

And some dismiss those that do. Everything I’ve said about the FTSE is out there. Should you wish to educate yourself. Maybe ignorance is bliss and because Dave down the pub says the FTSE is high and it’s all great and down to brexit doesn’t necessarily make it true. The FTSE is high, it is down...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Oranges will be cheaper and we can sell more pigs ears to China are two positives to be fair. The only other positive anyone has been able to explain to me is regaining control of our fishing policies, which I’m actually 100% behind as the EU fishing policy can only be described as mental to the...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Bitter? No. I very much see the free movement of people as a benefit not a negative, you’re the one who brought up employment records, I’ve just pointed out that is why we’re enjoying free movement of people within the EU, something that’s very much been portrayed as a negative to EU membership...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I understand the point. It’s just completely irrelevant to brexit whereas the NHS receiving money is relevant and central to the brexit campaign.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

If the NHS gets a huge shot in the arm because of brexit great. I don’t have a problem with admitting I’m wrong in assuming it won’t happen. In fact as someone who’s extremely frustrated by the the lack of investment in the NHS I’d be happy, very happy to admit I got it wrong should that happen...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You’re right. I don’t remember remain claiming that that more people would become catholic or vote conservative either. When did they claim that? Do you have a link? I’d love to read all about that.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Did we had a referendum promise of more people becoming catholic? Clearly more people don’t want to vote conservative going by the general election results but I don’t remember that being a remain promise either so I’m not sure what the relevance of your point is.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

For once I agree with you. Brexiteers didn’t consider it. They didn’t consider that it was a gross figure quoted, they didn’t consider that the gross figure was wrong by about £10M as its actually more like £360M, they didn’t consider the rebate that we never pay meaning that the nett figure...
