No, I didn't think it was aimed at me tbh. Interesting that you thought that I thought it might be....

    The invisible club

Hmmm, the old 'distressed asset' line.... ACL wasn't exactly in a healthy position in 2007 barely breaking even, it was in a better position by 2012 after it hosted the Olympic football and posted a net profit of £1m.

Back to square one would be an improvement on the deep blue sea where we are currently.

Oh look, a new registration and already they're spreading mistruths. Is this another new name for Jack Griffin? If this quote: was true. Why did they wait 5 years?

Is that one of the board's pedants whining about posters being self-congratulatory?

    Only Fools and Horses Musical

It can't be any worse than John Sullivan's (RIP) attempts to milk the OFAH brand with most of the post 1989 episodes (particularly the dreadful 2003 Christmas special) and the other spin offs

The Woolwich Ferry is free and drops you not far from Charlton if you really want to sale on the Thames

Superb! 5 pints for £18.50 is decent anywhere in Britain these days.

Tbh, in one of the best cities of the world that has hundreds of pubs, why would you want to restrict yourself to drinking shit beer from a plastic cup on a boat down the Thames? £30 would get you 4, maybe 5 pints and a return contactless ticket to Charlton from Euston would be about £8.

Sorry, congratulations by the way. You can't beat that moment when you hold them for the first time. It even beat the 3rd goal going in at Notts County ;)

    The Parenting Thread...

Yes mate, my lad is coming up for 7 months now. Everything is a bit of a whirlwind really, it's a culture shock but one you adapt to really quickly to the extent that it's hard to remember your life pre-baby. You must work as a team as it can get a bit fraught. Try if you can to sleep when...

    ticket sales

Fair point but they're relying on growing revenue, yes they're not as reliant on attendances as CCFC but the fact they're flat lining at best is not good news for Wasps

    HR v Ricoh

Less than it actually was for Sunderland as the away fans were limited to 4k. The same for Pompey. The attendances at the Ricoh as much as I hate the place or no worse than those at HR. We were already down to 14k average there by the time we left in the championship
