Match Day Thread - Sky Blue Sports & Leisure Limited and Others -v- Coventry City Council and Others

It's simple. What were the supposed benefits to the Coventry tax payer? When you talk about tax payer you imply that the council would be better off? Is that the case? What happened to the 'profit' on the ACL loan?

Match Day Thread - Sky Blue Sports & Leisure Limited and Others -v- Coventry City Council and Others

Duggins has never shown any evidence to demonstrate why the deal was in the best interests of the Coventry tax payer, perhaps he could do that.

I should have qualified it with as much as possible in their favour, which is why I mentioned the current deal as a starting point.

Probably time to draw a line under it and see how they can negotiate with Wasps, try to get a deal that benefits CCFC and not Wasps, perhaps continuing the current arrangement for a few years would suffice knowing what's coming for Wasps in 2022.

Is Simon Gilbert there? How can he talk extensively about it if he isn't in court other than going over the backstory for the millionth time?

Bits of the UK you've never been to .....

Glasgow is a good city, got a great feel to it. Surrey is pleasant as a place but not worth visiting. It's very wealthy and full of Tories.

Not really bothered what the outcome is tbh. Part of me wouldn't mind the council being scrutinised fully in the absence of a local media willing to do it at the time.

They call it the garden of England, I think there are some nice bits. I've been but only to Gillingham but fancy going to Margate or one of the other seaside towns I've never been to Devon or Cornwall

    Self gender identifying

There is a whole lobby of them, and it includes naive politicians who use it to signal how virtuous they are. See this preposterous story: Woman billboard removed after trans row

    Self gender identifying

The concept of self identification is frightening and dangerous, it's definitely being used by dangerous males to give themselves access to female only spaces. David Challenor (the scumbag who tortured the 10 year old in his attic) and his son Ashton, who self-IDs as Aimee set a motion to the...

    The Parenting Thread...

Yes, my missus had a cesarean too, it was pretty similar. I was amazed at how routine it seemed for the doctors (not sure why I'm amazed as it is a standard if complex operation).

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Wycombe Wanderers Match Thread - Saturday 13th Oct

I'd like to see Hiwula play up front instead of JCH, he's fairly big and strong and might make some runs into the channel to help stretch the game out a bit. That said, JCH is useful at the back defending corners, particularly against a big team like Wycombe. Otherwise Burge Sterling Davies...

Fair play to you. Agree with Ashdown's comments, the pubs near the Ricoh aren't great even though I don't mind the Sheaf, I wouldn't take visitors there
