The last time we were promoted. Looking at the table and comparing the 2 pts system to 3: 42 games played instead of 46 City currently have 54 points from 37 games under the 2 pts system. City finished on 59 pts. @42 games. ( 2 more wins and a draw in the next 5 will match this)

All credit to them for chanting ‘We are top of the league’ so heartily for the one game they were. If Boro finish second they deserve to go up . There’s still 1/5 of the season left. They are nearly there aren’t they?
