Would be happy with 5 points from those three tbh.

Southampton somewhat resurgent if you can forget last night, Swansea have an excellent home record, think we can beat Hull.
In their last 6 Southampton have picked up 2 one goal wins and 2 draws against struggling Leicester, Watford, Charlton and West Brom.

They'll be happy with a point, I won't.

Oh, yeah. I missed that one

Time to show what we are made of.
The question at this point is how many points will be too many for two teams to reach. Based on the fixtures and PPG required of the chasing clubs, 89 points combined with our excellent GD ought to be enough.

So, 4 wins. Sheff W I am confident to take as a given, it's then 3 others which really should be within our capabilities.

I refuse to be brave and bullish with any of my predictions / hopes. But seeing other posters be like “yeah we’ll smash Preston” etc actually gives me more confidence so I like it!

Preston last night seemed to spend the entire match looking for towels and deckchairs.

Maybe I'm just getting giddy but I genuinely think 10 points secures promotion. Ipswich's schedule in April looks horrendous and Millwall obviously have to go to Middlesbrough and Ipswich.

Relegation form from the last 9 games to secure promotion to the PL after 25 years. Mind-blowing.

I'm still a little nervous. 😂 Mad isn't it?

It's back to the "if we fail now, we will fail spectacularly" notion.

I am sure we will do it and go up as champions, but the next three games worry me a little.

Southampton, Swansea, Hull. I don't think we will lose all three (probably won't lose any of them), but they could all prove to be very tough games.

I would be more than happy with a draw on Saturday to be honest, though I do think we have an excellent chance of winning the game.

As for Swansea, that could be a harder task. I think it would be quite helpful if "And The Oscar Goes To-ham" beat them on Friday.

A win for the Swans there and they will just be two points behind their Welsh rivals.

Defeat could leave them 8 points adrift of 6th and knock their confidence quite substantially. 8 points behind with 8 games left would be a very hard ask.

Anyway, I do think these are three tough fixtures for us, but can definitely see us coming out of them at least undefeated.

I just can't bring myself to believe we are there already, though we pretty much are.
No need for train tickets this year, Otis! Fucking loving it 👍👍

If we hit our word form this season we will still get 90pts

Millwall need 2.55 pts per game to match us.
Which let’s be clear, isn’t going to happen. The teams needing 2.2 ppg averages and more just can’t really catch us.

We’re peaking at the right time whereas Ipswich and Boro have stuttered. Millwall are also peaking but are over-performing the data metrics and if they beat Ipswich and Boro in back-to-back away games… they are worthy 2nd place finishers.

You're getting there. Baby steps.

Not sure that's possible is it? Not unless they changed the rules.

I always had it in my head that you get 0 points for a loss, 1 point for a draw and 3 for a win. 👍🏻
-Ahhh yes. Your point (as it is) is correct. However, in this day and age we have to consider .ppg based on the gap between what they need and what we need to get. Maybe it’s just a case of them having to win 77.77% of their remaining games? Which will be another challenge.
