Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

I'm skeptical that they didn't have at least some notion this was going on anyway. Surely they'd be naive not to at least consider the possibility, even back then? The way this came about, with the Gilbert exclusive, all seemed a very convenient excuse to shift goalposts. To me anyway.

    100 years from now

I actually have a (somewhat outlandish) theory that the Premier League and Championship might end up merging into a two tier closed league system, based on nothing more really than the amount of money being pumped into clubs high up in the Championship. Especially if this European League never...

    Saturday Football at St Andrews

This is good news. Hopefully that can help add some numbers to the crowds.

    Statement from Tynan Scope

Gilbert really is determined to make himself look like a right prat. Wish he'd just crawl into a corner and keep out of the way. This source of his has obviously fed him a sidewinder, or isn't quite as official as he'd like to think.

    St Andrews confirmed!

Unfortunately too many people only hear half of the story and make up their minds based on that. It doesn't take much of a scroll through the club's social media posts to realise that. It's a simplification of the situation.

    St Andrews confirmed!

He can go to hell as well.

    St Andrews confirmed!

I tell you what, Wasps can stick it. I hope that rotten club goes bust as soon as possible. I hope people realise these are different circumstances to last time. Whatever you think of SISU and all the crap they've done over the years, our club needs our support more than ever now. Trouble is I...

    England Fans

Kane was a vampire tonight, just sucked the life out of our attack. As for John Stones, well. I'm not sure the word has yet been placed in the OED to describe that cluster of a performance from him. I get that we want to play out from the back and all, but Stones became the biggest threat to...

    'Champions' League Final.

That was probably the worst Champions League final I've seen. Actually wish it had been Ajax not Spurs, would have made a much better game.

    'Champions' League Final.

Origi good finish, but doesn't hide the fact this game has been absolutely garbage. How much were the tickets? I'd be gutted if I'd spent that much on one.

    'Champions' League Final.

Every Liverpool corner has been awful. First man almost every time.

    'Champions' League Final.

Well. Its hardly Istanbul 2005 is it. Pretty dire game overall.

    Universities?

Pretty much my experience. Second half of my first year my only lecture on a Wednesday finished at half twelve. My mates had 6 hours until their next lecture. We spent them 6 hours in the bar drinking, playing pool, great time. Then they all got suspended for plagiarism or left before year 2...

    Arsenal v Chelsea in Baku

Hazard leaving was the worst kept secret in football anyway wasn't it? The way they celebrated his first goal was tell tale.

    Arsenal v Chelsea in Baku

Switched it off with about ten minutes to go. Awful atmosphere in the stadium, awful game to match. Arsenal were absolutely dire, Chelsea could have scored five or six in the end without really looking all that good. Couldn't really find myself getting into it too much at all.

Who are we cheering in the playoffs?

No, well its not like Sunderland fans to let the facts get in the way of a good moan and/or grudge, is it?

Who are we cheering in the playoffs?

It's our fault because they didn't manage to beat us in either game. How dare we cost them points!

    Death List 2019

Now that's a great sporting comeback. On the brink of death, having the last rites read, and yet 40 days later he's back in the car. Must have been hell for him, but he did it and still had a stellar career afterwards. The word legend is used to easily these days, but in Lauda's case, it's...

Experienced, looks like a tough lump. Like the look of this deal. Could turn out to be a great bit of business this.

    Released list

Seems risky to me if Addai is the back up. Putting a lot of faith in whoever we do get in not to get injured, certainly doesn't sound like Addai is up to standard.
