    Captain next season

Thought I'd seen an article about pre-season referring to Kelly as captain on the club's Facebook page, so assumed from that he would be.

    Neymar

Neymar has ruined himself with his antics. No doubt he's got the ability to turn it on with the best, but spends too much time acting like a dick. Needs to spend less time rolling around crying like a baby, and more time on his feet doing what he's clearly capable of.

Did you have to do work experience when you were at school?

Managed to get it fixed so I worked with my stepdad at the roofing company he worked for. For 2 weeks, I was a director. (Well, I sat in the passenger seat of their delivery lorry, Reading a map and directing the driver where to go.)

    Kit launch at Coombe Abbey

Not being netagive, just not a personal favourite. Much preferred last season. But like I said, if we win plenty of games in it, I'm sure it'll grow on me

    Kit launch at Coombe Abbey

I don't know if I'm in the minority, but I'm not that keen honestly. Especially the away kit. That's awful! I didn't really like the Hummel kits from the late 80's. Mind you, if we win in it, it'll be beautiful!

    Rules you would change

I have a feeling there are going to be an increasing number of calls for a change to the offside rule this season, what with VAR coming into the Premier League.

    Photography thread

With a bit of playing around with the ISO and shutter speed, I managed to snap this in the old Cathedral. I quite like how I was able to make 9:45 AM look more like dusk!

    Worst ever signing?

If I remember, Isaias struggled to get a chance because he seemed to be forever injured. Hard to believe that we had the first Brazilian to play in the Premier League. As for worst signing, well let's be honest we have a plethora of contenders. I think Sherwood was the one I was most annoyed...

Well, if that Netflix documentary was anything to go by, they hardly have the patience of a Saint when things aren't going right.

To be fair, it was such a dull race that you probably could have gone and nicked it, and everyone would have been to busy dozing off to notice. Come to think of it, that alone would have made the whole race hilarious. Getting to the podium ceremony and finding out the winning trophy had been...

You should see the French GP trophy. No word of a lie, it looks like a plastic gorilla on a plinth, painted in glorious French tricolour, mightily holding aloft a Pirelli tyre.

Result stands! In my opinion, it would have been criminal to give a penalty for that. The sport NEEDS this kind of on track action badly. Its had far too many dull processions this season.

Just a shame the stewards are going to stick their beaks in and ruin what was and probably will be the best race this year.

    so wasps were involved ?

It seems to me the council have dug a very big hole for themselves, and it just keeps getting bigger the more that comes out. That sounds like the response of someone under pressure.

    so wasps were involved ?

It's taken far too long for this to blow up in the public domain. Questions needed to be asked sooner, they should have been all over it.

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

It's basically the same thing as when FIFA investigated itself for corruption a few years ago. There was never any danger of them finding against themselves, even if they actually were.

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

"Well, SISU could drop the legals" would probably be the standard response. But you're certainly right, if he had any credibility, he should be pressing the point. Our local media have, by and large, failed to do so.

So, nobody wants to confirm or deny. Which pretty much on its own confirms it. If there wasn't any truth in it, they'd all stick to a very solid "no."

He should have been asking these kind of questions already.
