The thing is, Collins was so wank it's glazed over Wilson. Poor stats last season, poor stats the season before that too and a career mainly as a lower league backup. I don't see him as an acceptable option for a team looking to challenge at the top of the Championship.

I'm sure clubs will be queueing up to take the 'best in the league' for the peanuts he would be available for then. The blindness some of this fanbase has for Wilson is wild to me. He's so poor and if we go into the season with him starting something has gone wrong.

I agree, I think we need to prepare as if he's going to be out for the season. Anything could happen with that kind of injury. We can't just 'make do' and end up writing off the season.

Right, except we know our keeper is out for some time with an ACL and we are at a stage in the season (before it) where we have an opportunity to do something about it. It would be negligent not to.

Would quite like to move on Allen, or even Eccles if the bid was right to allow us to try for something a bit different in midfield, but I'd say it's the area of least concern for me. If it stays as is, with everyone fit, its ok.
