The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I would be surprised, maybe some cosmetic concessions but nothing fundamental. Deal or not, an EU recession is not help to the UK, particularly Germany as it is a massive export market for us.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

What's quite funny at the minute is the Tory boasts about low unemployment, lowest level since erm 1975. Sometimes the pictures painted of history don't always align to other things you say.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You're conflating a political negotiation with somebody trying to buy something in an open market, nonsensical tbh.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Their red lines are written into a series of treaties that form the basis of the EU that cannot just be undone. May's red lines are a mixture of pet projects of hers and pandering to various factions in the Tory party.

    Protest ?

I think it was a late tokenistic addition to the agenda. I'm not necessarily knocking them for anything they've done today but applauding the Wasps Commercial Director is cringeworthy.

    Breaking- New Consortium Bid

It doesn't make any sense, if they make the decision to sell the club they've made the decision.

    Breaking- New Consortium Bid

Because it shows what sort of deal may be available should SISU drop the legals?

    Breaking- New Consortium Bid

Interesting angle really, actually makes continuing with legal action more viable than less, underwritten by Hoffman the white knight!

    Council Statement due today

Again, I don't think Wasps would sell contracts on that basis, but equally it would decrease the value of the contracts because of it.

    Breaking- New Consortium Bid

In that case, Wasps can talk about a rental agreement despite ongoing legals then? As ultimately a takeover does not stop SISU taking them to court.

    Breaking- New Consortium Bid

Be interesting if it comes out that the new consortium has spoken to Wasps provisionally wouldn't it?

    Council Statement due today

There is no way that a contract would contain a clause that voided a contract due to the actions of a third party out of the control of either party to the contract.

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

The way the consortium behaves is rather amateurish, e.g. "The terms of the transaction will remain confidential, but it was more than £7m".....why would you even offer that amount of cash for something with limited net worth?
