SISU Open Letter Reply to Council

SISU decided to release the email not Reid, it's not down to him that it hasn't been made public. He may have had knowledge of it without being given the go ahead to release it.

    Oxford winding up order

Funny though, in this case all the sympathy from the Trust will end up being with Oxford, as it nicely fits their "we hate nasty owners" line.

Get over it. It was 100 years ago. This country needs to move on

    Derby County sell stadium

Because it puts the football club and landlord on a set of objectives that are only coincidentally aligned. Your stuff about 'respected' professions is ridiculously naive.

In fairness, I'm not saying that really. I'm just saying that the idea that SISU should spend significant sums on something that is apparently a non-starter (local planning expert skybluetony176 has said it is) is a little off the mark.

If you remember Wasps were playing the benevolent franchise rugby club and reached out to offer the CCFC academy to rent some of the planned facilities - this offer was made public on 2nd June 2016, around the time the plans were submitted. The parties are different here but the premise is the...

To what end though? They can't force the council to sell land even if there is a brilliant plan. The Wasps plan for the training centre at Allard Way didn't come before they'd agreed a deal for the land. Why would CCFC do things any differently?

I used the English Heritage search engine which didn't find them as their record doesn't include a postcode. I quickly conceded I was wrong when faced with evidence (as I always do when I am - unlike clowns like you who press various spurious points time and time again). Have you looked at the...

Why would they spend the money on the array of different consultants they'd need to commission if they aren't sure: a. Whether or not the council would even relinquish the land i.e. by selling the freehold in part or a long leasehold b. Whether or not the council would even consider a...

I quite like modernist architecture but really, there is nothing particularly interesting about that. Like I said before, English Heritage treat Coventry as if it is an experiment rather than a place where people live

Coventry has got more than one Grade I listed building in the city centre. The Old Grammar School is one, Council allowed various developments in and around it that are not at all sympathetic to it, so they can't really start playing those sorts of games now.

In answer to the last paragraph. If it was possible to play elsewhere in the city yes. CCFC owes the Ricoh nothing. In the realms of fantasy but if Wasps went bust or fucked off back to London and CCFC had already moved until a new stadium. I would not bat an eyelid about the fait of the...
